About Us
Stacy Whittemore was born and raised in Utah and currently lives in Sandy Utah with her family.
With fifteen plus years in the skilled nursing and rehabilitation segment of healthcare she has first hand knowledge of the challenges family face when a loved one is in rehabilitation and a personal knowledge of Alzheimer's having cared for family members with the disease.
“Where the Lilacs Bloom” was inspired by her own daughters journey as they helped care for their grandmother.
Her goal is simple, she hopes someday that no child will need to read Where the Lilacs Bloom because a cure has been found for Alzheimer's. A portion of all sales of Where the Lilacs Bloom will be donated to the Alzheimer's association.
As part of her work at a local care center Ms. Whittemore interacted with families and heard their concerns that children weren’t comfortable with visiting a loved one and was confused by the environment. Harvey is about introducing a child to a care center environment and learning new ways to interact with those who really do need hugs and a little TLC.
Rochelle Flores adores artwork of all kinds and hunting for hugs from the people she loves. She currently resides in beautiful Heber City, Utah with her husband, Alfonso and their three sons, Benjamin, Spencer, and William.
Kristen Winterton has been painting for over 30 years. This is her first book, but she has always loved to paint, draw, and do anything that involves creating. She hopes to be painting for many years to come. She currently lives in Utah with her husband and three daughters.
